YWAM CAMP RECAP
PART 4
Hello friend!
Welcome to Part 4 of the YWAM Camp Recap! If you haven’t read the first 3 blog posts, please do so!
Friday- the last full day. Everyone was faced with the same mixed feelings; wanting to stay but also wanting to go back home. The important thing was to cherish every moment of that last day, and that is what I did. I started the morning with quiet time at the BTC with Ania. I would miss those chill mornings with the flags and ocean in view on the coffee shop porch.
The morning sessions were so equipping! Jeff talked about taking steps of faith and following God, even if you don’t know all the details. He talked about Paul having the vision of the Macedonian man in Acts chapter 16. Let’s allow the Holy Spirit to guide us, and redirect us, and let’s step out in faith! That session gave me even more peace and confirmation about doing a DTS after high school, and I’m excited for when the year wait is over!
After the session, we had our last small group. We went to the BTC and gave encouraging words to everyone. I cried for a good amount of the time, and those girls are forever family to me. I was so encouraged and refreshed by them!
I just want to say thank you to all of the amazing girls that I met who poured into my life:

Thank you for your Godly example, and the wisdom that you carry! Not only are you so fun, loving, and compassionate, you are full of Godly wisdom and knowledge! You are a woman of God that I look up to; you have shown me what it looks like to be confident in who God has made me to be. I love you so much; I love your heart for God and others and am so grateful that you wanted to spend time with me. You are also a singing queen- your voice is literally GORGEOUS and such a gift to all who hear it! I can’t wait to see what the Lord is going to do in your life! Love you, sis!

Thank you for the woman of God you are, and your heart for the Father! You sharpen my faith, and I look up to you! I love you so much; when I was moving to Utah I was praying for a good, godly friend that would be like my sister- and you are the answer to that prayer! I can’t wait to continue to do life together- and to see how the Lord is going to use you! I know that He has amazing plans for you, and I am forever grateful to God that we met! Thank you bestie for who you are, I love you so much!
I’m forever grateful for all of you and cherish our friendship. All of you have been so instrumental in my life, and made my first Commission Camp experience all the more amazing! Thank you all for the sisters you are to me, and I love you all so much!
After some lunch, we played some final outdoor games together which were crazy! We played slip-and-slide soccer, human surfing, and other games like that. My team, Kyrgyzstan, didn’t win. Mongolia did, but I still had a blast! After we all washed and tidied up for room checks, I went to dinner and ate with Ania, Emma, and Sophia. As I was there, I noticed that everyone had the same new sweaters or graphic tees. There was a pop-up merch sale downstairs! But, it closed 20 minutes ago. I was bummed because I hadn’t gotten any souvenirs for myself that said Hawaii, and I was hoping to get something. I decided to go check just in case, and when I got there, the sweet man let me get a crewneck! Thank you so much whoever that was! (It’s my new favorite piece of clothing!)
It was now time for the very last session/worship set. Tonight was Commission Night! During worship, they called out certain areas that people felt called to and asked those to come up front. After calling up many people who felt called to certain nations, Jeff said if you feel called to America come up front. That was me! Now, don’t get me wrong, I love the nations and am so grateful for those who feel called there. We need people sharing the Gospel and Word of God in places where they don’t have access to it. But, we also can’t have EVERYBODY leave America to reach those places; America needs them too! Even though we do have access to the Bible, our country is broken and there are people everywhere who need to hear the Good News! When I went up, 2 girls came up and prayed for me, and said almost the same thing! It was an AMAZING time of worship; I felt the empowerment of the Holy Spirit like I had never felt before. After a time of prayer, we all took off our shoes, raised them, and said “LORD, SEND ME! LET ME BE A COIN IN YOUR POCKET, SPEND ME HOW YOU WANT TO!” We ended the night with some banger worship, and I wouldn’t have wanted camp to end any other way.
That morning, the Lord answered yet another prayer. I lost my Lululemon belt bag, with my wallet, my driver’s license, money, keys, Blenders sunglasses, and literally everything inside. I was really stressed, especially since I never lose things. But, the Lord answered our prayers, and we found it! Destiny sent me off, and within 10 minutes of traveling, I already missed everyone.
Jadon, Kaden, and I were flying together and had an earlier flight. When we got to the airport, we met some people who were also Commission Campers and got to chat with them for a bit before our flight took off. The travel day was really fun and not stressful at all! (Even though we almost missed our layover flight.) When we got picked up, we listened to some fun worship in the car and enjoyed the 2-hour trip home. We all came back with the fire burning inside, forever changed, and unashamed to tell everyone about it.
Thank you for reading friend! I hope that my testimony has encouraged and inspired you. Let’s show our passion for Jesus, and tell someone how awesome he is today! Stay tuned for the new blog post coming out next Saturday!
